The main project of the Hope and Health NGO is to open and maintain a day care center for people with mental disabilities.

From November 2001 to March 2003, the organization worked entirely on a voluntary basis. After 15 months the Ministry of Justice has issued a certificate that organization is a non-profit and public benefit to the State.

The day care center for adults with mental disabilities was opened during the project with Janivo Stichting № 2003.023, Holland (2003-2004)

01/02/2011 – 31/07/2011 – Thanks to Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Moldova, a pilot project was implemented - "Music therapy for mentally disabled people".

15/03/2012 - 15/10/2012 - "Creating employment opportunities for people with permanent mental disability through trainings in ceramic" supported by Czech Republic Official Development Assistance (CZK) within the framework of Local Small Scale Projects.

01/01/2013 - 31/12/2013 - "Creating conditions for cooking, providing meals and cooking trainings for young people with mental disabilities" supported by ERSTE Foundation through DIAKONIE AUSTRIA and the Swiss Confederation, acting through the Swiss Cooperation Office in the RM.

01/06/2015 - 30/04/2017 - "Legal protection for parents/guardians of people with mental disabilities and assistance in maintaining the fundamental rights of persons with intellectual and psychiatric disabilities" supported by American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the frame of MPSCS Programme implemented by FHI360 in Moldova.

01/01/2017 - 31/12/2019 - "Solidarität in der Gemeinschaft (Community-based social inclusion and empowerment of people with intellectual disabilities and their families)" supported by Austrian Development Agency with funds from the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), in partnership with Diakonie Austria.

Our beneficiaries participated in 14 joint environmental projects with a local ecological organization - «Pomul Vieţii».
